| Dear Z riders! Today, I would like to introduce you to a very special project: A few years ago, we developed a concept for an elaborate new illustrated book about the Kawasaki Z1, Z 900, and KZ 900 motorcycles. However, due to the exorbitant increase in global shipping costs in recent years, we at Z900.us have not only had to discontinue our popular calendar, but we have also found ourselves unable to publish and distribute this book ourselves through our in-house division ROXXITY PUBLICATIONS. Hans-Jürgen Tücherer has been working as a motor journalist for more than four decades, writing and photographing for car and motorcycle magazines around the world, and has published several books. Most recently, he published the illustrated book “Maybach, the Third Reich and the Shah of Persia,” which is available from Amazon here:: Some of you have already been in contact with him in the past, as he has been responsible for editing our Z900.us calendars over the years. Hans-Jürgen Tücherer will now continue developing the book project on the classic Kawasaki Z models on his own. With Amazon KDP, he has found a publishing partner that undoubtedly provides the best and most professional logistics for the worldwide distribution of books. This also solves the problem of shipping costs. His plan is to publish this exclusive illustrated book there in German and English in the course of 2026. A strong project that we will support with a small sponsorship from Z900.us! This book about the classic Kawasaki Z1, Z 900, and KZ 900 models will not only deal with the history, development, and technology of these unique bikes. Above all, it will also present a wide variety of motorcycles, whether in used original condition, perfectly restored specimens or restomods, and fascinating stories from the global Z community.
